In-Vest USA

In-Vest USA began in 1993 when South Carolina businessman Michael Letts first learned that local law enforcement officers were not provided protective vests as a regular part of their personal equipment.

Outraged and resolved to rectify this situation, Letts formed In-Vest USA, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to help officers in South Carolina.

We Equip Police Officers with Active Shooter

Vests That Save Lives

In-Vest USA is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds to distribute free bulletproof vests and equipment to first responders in communities across America.

We will not stop until every law enforcement officer in America is provided a free personal active shooter vest.

Protecting Those Who Protect Us

Our first responders are the thin blue line that is keeping our country in check, but if we don’t get behind them soon, the blue line is going to collapse.

All lives matter, but we must protect those who protect us.

Bulletproof TV

First responders (police officers, EMTs, and firefighters) face life-changing dangers every time they suit up and take a call. Sometimes the danger comes from the very people they are there to help. These brave men and women are trained to save the lives of others, but what happens when they need to be saved?

In weekly episodes, the new series Bulletproof vividly captures life-changing stories using dramatic, first-hand interviews; field footage; occasional and brief reenactments; crime scenes photos; and round-table discussions. Through it all, viewers experience the pain, pressures, and passions that are part of everyday life for First Responders—America’s heroes!

Bulletproof is an exciting new series that explores the impulse inside of those who run toward danger, instead of away from it. That split second makes all the difference, and Bulletproof explores how it works and how it helps real people, real families, and real lives.
